Simon’s extensive financial planning knowledge, personable nature and enthusiasm for building strong relationships allows him to help clients find effective financial solutions now and in the future.
Simon has been providing financial planning, investment advice and managing investment portfolios for high net worth clients for nearly 20 years. Starting his career in England in 1998 he gained experience at Arthur Andersen before joining Pitcher Partners Investment Services in Melbourne in 2002. In his time at Pitchers Simon built a loyal client base of high net worth individuals, retirees, wealth accumulators, business owners, and charitable organisations.
Simon holds an array of tertiary and professional qualifications. He has a Bachelor of Economics and Management (with Honours) from Cardiff University and also completed tax and financial planning qualifications in the UK. Since moving to Australia he has completed Kaplan courses in Gearing and Margin Lending, Self-Managed Superannuation Funds and holds the Diploma of Financial Planning. Simon is also a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®) which is the valued industry designation achieved through the highest education in financial planning. Simon is a member of the Financial Planning Association (FPA) and also sits on the Professional Advisors Committee of the Australian Communities Foundation.
Outside of work, Simon is kept busy ferrying his two junior school boys to various sports and activities. He loves getting involved in the local community, be it through school or the Murrumbeena Junior Football and Cricket clubs, playing sport himself or (very occasionally) relaxing with his family and friends.
